Poster Presenter Guide

General Information for Presenters

  • This Conference will be held online via Gathertown.

  • The theme of the conference: "Contributions of Psychological Research and Practice to Societies."

  • Psychology Undergraduates / Postgraduates / Professionals (Practitioners and Scholars) are eligible to join as presenters.

  • The Event welcomes presenters from all fields of psychology (e.g., Educational, Clinical,  Counselling,  Industrial-Organizational, Social, Forensic, Developmental, Neurobiological, etc.).

  • Prizes Categories: Undergraduates / Postgraduates / Professionals (Practitioners and Scholars).

  • This event is free of charge.

Registering to the Event as a Presenter

1. To register and join the event as a presenter, please submit an abstract by following the guidelines below.
 

2. Summarized Guidelines for Abstract Submission:

  • Language: English.

  • Word Limit: no more than 500 words.

  • The abstract should convey how the presenter's psychological research may contribute practically to society.

  • Please read the detailed instructions for presenters for all abstract specifications (downloadable at the bottom of this page). 

  • EXTENDED Abstract submission deadline: 1 August 2022, 09:30. Late submissions will not be accepted, and no changes will be allowed after submission.

3. The panel members will review the abstract, and the result (acceptance/rejection) will be sent to the applicants by 29 July 2022 (2 August 2022 for late applicants).
 

4. Upon acceptance, an email will be sent including the following information:​

  • A 3-character poster identification number.

  • A link to access Gathertown.

  • A ​link to submit a presentation poster.

5. Summarized Guidelines for Poster Submission:​

6. The panel members will review the content of the posters and upload the posters to Gathertown (according to the identification number) upon inspection. If the poster is found inappropriate, the presenter will be notified, and an amended version must be submitted by 15 August 2022, 09:30.

Note about this event:

  • All submitted files (abstracts and/or posters) may be showcased in the event materials (e.g., leaflet and/or website)

  • The Gathertown space will be opened to all registered participants on 17 August 2022. All presenters are required to log in to get familiarised with the settings of Gathertown and test the computer equipment before the presentation.
